my walk of faith

What’s one thing you wish you had started doing earlier in life?

Dearest Lord Jesus I am not sure of much about life but I know that it is YOU who sits on the throne of God, You are the ONE.  Rev 21:5

And it will be You Lord who will say at the close of earth’s history:

“It’s done! Evil is gone! I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  Those who are thirsty will drink free of charge from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, for I am his GOD and he is my son.”

And for those who continued in lying, cheating, killing, committing adultery , playing with magic and worshipping the idols they made – those who refused to trust in God’s plan of Salvation, they will have no other option than to suffer the consequences of sins

Friends it is a common practice to talk about what you love, but to share the Word of God is to walk in faith.

I am a half a century old, it has taken me years to get to this place where my trust in the Lord is leading me to share it with whomever will hear or in this case read it. For I am not ashamed of the truth of His Word.

To answer the prompt – I wish I’d started walking in faith sooner.

So here we are – I welcome you to take a moment to walk with me through a study the end of sin

You will need the bible app or better yet your bible to read each verse in addition as I did.

I pray that each scripture is a light upon your path in understanding and a lamp to your feet.

Rev 21:5  is about the New Heaven and Earth and who is doing this new thing.

Rev 4:2-9  the ONE sitting on the throne of God, this describes the Throne Room of God (in Heaven) this is about the Son of God, you can also look in the first book of Revelation the first line states “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Jesus to show His servants (humanity) – things which must shortly take place.”

He has given us this information as freely as the water that quenches our thirst for knowledge, just as a good teacher would to a student learning.

And there is even more – He promised blessings to him (you) who reads and hears the words of this prophecy, not only reading and hearing it, but by keeping those things which are written (in its entirety) for the time is near. Rev 1:3

If you understand this you are ready to move forward.

If not what is keeping you back?

Pray and ask God to reveal to you the truth of His Word.

Now back to Rev 20:11 the great white throne – The form of the ONE not a spirit but the form- which is Jesus  – how do we know this?

In Genius1:26  when it says “let us make man in our image, in our likeness..”  the image of God the Son – we know that He took in a form and that form was flesh. Yet in the spiritual world He is so radiant that the earth and sky disappear because of His presence.

Think about the conversation in Exodus 33:22 Moses asked to see God and He responded “no one who sees me will live so I will hide you behind the cleft of the rock and my glory will pass before you – as my hand covers you.

This is also a foreshadowing of the Savior who is the right hand of God – Jesus.

So God the Father is Jesus in the flesh – no different then you are a part of your father and mother, our image is shared by the likeness of them.

And it is Jesus (His right Hand Psalm 20:6) who is needed to cover us or we would perish from God’s divine presence.

Jesus also says in John 14:6  He is the way, truth and life and no one can go to the Father except through the Son. Matt 28:18 He was given all authority.

And this is why we have to walk in faith – believing in this comes with great evidence of history as well as the countless testimonies of His Word which supports His claim.

When you don’t believe is when you lack faith.

To gain and strengthen our faith we only need to open up the most powerful tool in the universe- the living Word of God.

His Word says unless we receive Christ as our Savior we will not be able to see His coming glory. His power. His Kingdom, because His divine presence would kill us.

So lets put together some more pieces of the puzzle – look at 2 Peter 3:7 it talks about Christ Return.

Until that day of judgement God is preserving the heavens and the earth,  it will not be some “man made” warfare that ends it.

There’s also none left behind in a special kind of hell – better yet there’s no place where the planet turns in on itself as God holds this together until just before His Son returns. Signs of the times are everywhere but God still holds the world in check.

Again the chain link reference of the Bible is telling us what we need to know, all that is ungodly will be destroyed by the presence of the Lord’s judgement day because He is the consuming fire.

This shows that God can do whatever He wants but He is waiting to fulfill the prophecy of Christ return. He is a God of order and His righteousness is just. He has said what He will do and then it will happen as He says.

Just as the dream in Daniel 2:35 was foretelling the kingdoms to come, the final one is a rock.

This is our Redeemer Jesus Christ.

How exciting to know that no other kingdom will stand, only the Lord God Almighty and this Rock will make all kingdoms forgotten –  He is the Greater mountain which will fill the whole earth. Rev 16:14

This is the final showdown between the battle of God and the forces of evil.

The Lords says Listen! I will come and rescue my people as suddenly as a thief appears out of the night. But you need to stay awake and hold on to my righteousness so you won’t be caught asleep..

The spirit of prophecy tells us in Ish 43:19 to hold fast to our faith in God’s plans, in His Word He will do a new thing, He will make a path before you and He will supply all your needs, only trust and obey Him. 2 Corinth 5:17

Blessed are those He calls who listen and abide in Him. This is a faithful people.

And finally I could go on and on with this chain link study but here’s where I leave you.

Rev 22:6  The words of Lord God are faithful and true – He sent heaven to us to show us through the prophets that He has a plan.

Now ..the question is will you ask Him into your heart and continue to investigate more of His truths or go to sleep?

It is my prayer that you continue to walk in the assurance that He who has begun this thing in you will complete it…a promise that’s written in Phil 1:6.

Friends may you walk in faith today and may I see you on the way up!

In Christ Love, Amen
