What motivates you?
I have a draft folder filled with post ideas some half written and others needing editing.
But I was lacking the right motivation to get them posted.
So a year ago when I started this journey- the motive was to share the gospel in a way that would inspire those in other parts of the world to search out the truth for themselves.
Sharing Gods Word – is like giving someone a chance to become extremely wealthy if they would seek for themselves Gods riches. Healing – forgiveness- the eternal gift of life is only possible when we seek the Lord. Ask the richest men alive today they cannot purchase any of these.
So essentially helping others to consider seriously the Gospel message was my goal.
However if what I share here doesn’t prompt others to seek the Lord why would I want to continue.
Recently I confessed to my best friend that I hadn’t been interested in sharing anything out here..and his feedback was “don’t do it for others.. do it for yourself.”
That left an impression.
Every person needs it but I need it also, the Truth of Gods Word has been my fortress on a high mountaintop and to proclaim it is very good for my soul.
The Lord has given me the gift of faith and hope. It is meant to be shared.
My inner drive is to use this place like that of a mountain top proclaiming that God is love – Jesus is the Way and His Love never fails, we can put our trust in Him – He will work it all out.
And that my friends is what’s motivating me today.
